The Glennie School Foundation strives to build a culture of financial support to secure Glennie’s future.
Established in 1997, The Glennie School Foundation Limited aims to promote philanthropy, fellowship and communication through social and business networking opportunities together with its relationship with The Glennie School community and committees.
Since its inception, over $1 million has been contributed to developments in school facilities, resources and scholarships.
The Foundation is a separate legal entity to the School, with its objectives closely aligned with the School’s vision, mission, values and strategic goals.

Directors
The Glennie School Foundation’s Directors are volunteers, donors, parents and friends of Glennie. The directors seek to assist by financially supporting projects in line with the School’s Strategic Plan.
The Board is governed by the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company and has a fiduciary responsibility as trustees for the operation of the Foundation. The Board works with the School Council and Principal when considering projects for funding support.

Make a donation
Funds and Scholarships
Through pledges, donations, bequests and fundraising events including the annual Audi Centre Toowoomba Corporate Golf Classic and Ben’s Pop Up Picnic, Glennie Old Girls, parents, families and friends have financially assisted the Foundation to provide support to The Glennie School.
Funds raised through The Glennie School Foundation have assisted with:
- Construction and re-development of the Junior Years campus
- Refurbishment of the boarding houses
- Construction of the Sue Edwards Science Centre
- Construction of the Sports Centre
- Provision of scholarships for performing arts
- Bursaries for families facing financial or rural hardships.
Scholarship Recipients
Molly McInerney was a Helene Orton Scholarship recipient from 2008 to 2012:

Become a Member
Through helping generate and receive philanthropic support, the Foundation invites parents, families, friends, businesses and the wider community to consider becoming members of the Foundation.
Membership provides opportunities to become involved in the operation of the Foundation and, where possible, to assist The Glennie School in achieving its strategic goals.
Membership of the Foundation is open to anyone wishing to support the aims and objectives of the Company. There are a range of membership levels available. These include giving financial assistance, expertise and advice to identify ways to advance the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
Members will receive public recognition if they wish, special invitations to School events and a donor badge and membership certificate.
